You can get away with not having one but you're severely limiting what your setup can do. You won't be doing any long 5th gear pulls or any kind of extended on/off boost or spirited driving. I'd say no intercooler would be limited to meth setups and drag racing only.

Not recommended, there's a reason that OEMs began installing charge cooling in boosted vehicles.

we do know. but we're not mind readers.

i dont think it would be necessary on a street car or a drag car (although i have one on mine), but for a track car, especially rally cross/auto x/time attack, i would want one for more stable oil temps.

i put one on my car, to gain a slight amount of oil capacity, stabilize oil temps, and maybe combat high oil pressure due to my BS delete and tight clearances.
