Trying to figure out if it's possible to remove one of the plugs from the oil filter housing to make a connection spot for an air to oil to oil cooler? If not where's the best place to tap in?

This is on a 6 bolt block 92 oil filter housing.

Yes. Either switch to a 90ofh (which accommodates for an external air to air oil cooler) or get a sandwich adapter and run the lines to it.

Is it worth it to keep the water oil cooler and also use an air to oil cooler? Is the water cooler bad since it's not really cooling the oil if the waters hot, or by making the water hotter, faster?

Is that why people switch to the '90 filter housing ?

Best place to get an adapter plate?
