Air Intake Question

OK I know this is a really dumb question but... What is the third tube that connects to the intake connect to? Its located under the battery.

Its for the charchoal canister. It sucks excess fuel vapor from the gas tank forward and burns it through the engine during vacuum. Its an emission hose.

You can delete it as well as your emmissions. But if you need to pass then keep it.

Yes you could. I did... I left the vent open in the bay and sometimes you can smell the vapors. Some people routed the vent line to the rear or the car. Just dont ever plug the line..

Nothing really but space under the battery and a few less hoses. I have my battery where it used to be. Thats is the only benefit that i could see. If you need emissions keep it though..

Less things to break or leak. There aren't any performance gains, it's just less to deal with.
