I have autometer C2 Boost, EGT, and "Air/Fuel" gauges...now the reason why i picked those gauges is to strictly piss off domestics...i was going to match my gauges and get the new autometer wideband but the guys at the shop say auutometer has like a 3% error margin or something...

Just wondering, is it better to go with the AEM wideband? or the autometer? PERFORMANCE IS WHAT MATTERS...just curious on what you guys have heard

Both have a 0-5v output for external logging capabilities. Both use the Bosch O2 sensor. The only real difference is the maker.

AEM has been around a while and has good reviews for working with DSMLink.

Autometer has been making gauges for a long time. I personally don't use them, but they get good reviews. However, I haven't heard anything about their WB O2 setup, but would find it hard to believe that it's 3% error margin when everyone else is 1%.

FWIW I am going with the Zeitronix ZT2:

Just a seperate opinion here, but i'm running a PLX M-300 and absolutely love it. It works great with DSMLink, and has a greater range of a/f ratios it will read as compared to the AEM (which my brother has on his civic turbo BTW).

well now im confused as hell...why would this guys tell me that then? what do you think i should do? do you think i should go with the C2 to keep the gauges all the same, or go with the AEM?

AEM is way better, much more accurate. Its more $ but worth it, its 1 of the most important things to monitor

Okay, tell me how you can get more precise than 0-5v DC Analog signal, with an accuracy of 1/10th (.1) of a ratio? You have to install it at a 10* angle, for accurate readings as well... Downstream of the exhaust of course... So if its not installed or calibrated correctly, of course you will have problems...

Roughly about the same price. 280-325 for the Autometer wb and I just recently saw sales of 220 for the AEM wb.... Even without the sale, they both are roughly about the same. Autometer doesn't have the "6-in1" setup, but who cares, its all styling from there.
