i just installed my wideband last night, but didnt get to drive it around. on my way to work this morning i noticed :

A : normall a/f at cruise 14.6 - 15.0 fluctuating here and there between the two

B : under about 1/2 - 3/4 throttle a good 10.5-11.0 (untuned) seemed good

C : (the bad ) give it wot and the gauge goes up to about 13.4 - 14.0 ? wtf!

would this be more of a pump issue, fpr to small injectors ? plugged fuel filter?

i'm on a fp 18g at about 19-20 psi, 750 cc fic injectors, evo 8 pump (not rewired yet) dsmlink v1

question 2:

i checked the fuel pressure, i took the vac line off and it jumped to 52 psi put the vac line on and its at about 43 psi?? needs a fpr?

Are you knocking? whats your IDC's? Timing?

i very very seldom get any degree's on knock on a log under wot. ( about .4 degrees sometimes ) which is weird considering the a/f, as far as timing goes top of the gear is usually about 14* - 16* and the idc never goes above 60-70% can think of the #'s but i'll do some logging tonight see what i can find

WOW! 14.0's are maaaaaaaaaaaaad lean!! Does it do it immediately at WOT on more as you get through the gear? Whats your base fp at? The EVO pump might not be sufficent enough at those boost levels it flows less than a walbro 190 but will outflow a 190 when rewired. Rewire it and see if anything changes.

i know right! thought it was insane my self, im going to change the wastgate actuator so i can set the boost below 18 psi and try to rewire the pump tonight as well.. see whats goin on, i already have a 255 ho laying around so i'll just have to purchase a afpr thanks for the advice :thumb:

alright.

rewired the evo pump and ran a solid 10.9 - 11.1 afr to redline also added a ? about fuel pressure up top any idea's?

Awesome!! I knew that would help. The BFP is pretty high, you dont necessarily "need" an AFPR but you should have it set at about 43 with the vac line off, not on. If anything its just helping the car run a bit richer. Its not 100% necessary though.
