Can you just tune with only these two or will you need a pocketlogger also. My friend has one that I can use and what not, but I just don't understand why you would need one if you have your A/F ratio right in front of your eyes. Also I just got a Wideband and SAFC 2 and I was just wondering where I need to start at with tuning my car. Like what settings I need and stuff. Thanks for all you guys dealing with all these noobs. We really appreciate it. ROFL

Having a wideband is very important to tuning. The thing you need a data logger for (in general) is to watch knock. You can tell (to an extent) if you're getting dangerous with a tune just looking at a/f's. But you won't know if you're knocking. So it's good to use all three in conjunction.

When you get started, log a run and see where you are at to start with. If you see any knock, add some fuel to that portion of the rpm curve. Just keep doing this until you are satisfied with the tune, and you'll be well on your way.
