aem wideband question

Ok so I was hooking up my wideband and I cut the pin # 15 wire. Do I splice in the wideband's 0-5v wire and solder it all back together? or do i just solder it to the wire that goes to the connector side and leave the other side not connected?

also when looking at 1G ECU Pinouts is that the ecu side or is that showing the view from the back (wire side)

When interfacing the WB with the ECU you need to buffer it due to the way AEM WB sees and sends voltage to the ECU for readout. ECM tuning has the buffer and radio shack does too possibly. Theres a few posts out there about wiring it in. I havent done mine yet due to a leaky DP gasket.
