The Ingalls front camber anchor bolt kit seems nigh impossible to find nowadays. With that, so are the "bigger" SPC adjustable balljoints -- with exception: eBay. At $150/side now.
There doesn't seem to be whole lot of love on that those, especially compared to anchor bolts.

But Dorman also provides an adjustable anchor bolt kit (545-010), but rockauto labels it as for a FWD. To my understanding (and the FSM) the FWD and AWD 2Gs share an identical front suspension. The anchor bolts then are interchangeable.

Yes, we all know Dorman quality. But, it makes me wonder how viable are they.. and their longevity. They're slightly cheaper (at only $90/side) but they should be an option -- no?

Hey Curt, I’ve been bouncing this idea around too. The Dorman 545-010 is listed as being compatible with AWD on other sites such as Summit. With that being said and us knowing that the front suspension is the same on a FWD., I’m sure they’ll fit.
I’ve also considered the Moog K7452 Ball Joints, but I don’t love the design of them as you’ll be adjusting caster simultaneous to camber.
Either option will work, but I haven’t used either personally so I can’t comment on longevity.

Anchor bolts had issues of 2 things. The vertical shaft can snap as it was thinner and also not properly centered or loaded centrally. The other was slippage. Its not a high occurance but it has happened before where they slip and adjust.

The ball joints where a problem with the poly covering where it would breakdown very fast. I think it was ruled as overly stiffer material causing this. Dont know if they changed it or not.

This next part is hazy but seen it possibly last year here. The mounting nut and plate for the top had a redesign from SPC. But this one couldnof very well been the cast arm issue so may not apply.

Its very tight under there so its likely why not alot continue options as everything has to be very compact.
