Just got a cyclone intake and am going to be getting a ostrich at some point for ECM management. Anyway the code is pretty clear to set the RPM with the ECM, but it is much easier to find a WG actuator than a vacuum actuator.
I was thinking of running a NC switch to the EGR pin on the ECU, and having the switch in between the vacuum/boost source and a T25 actuator. This would essentially cause a if boost is greater than 8 psi and RPM greater than 4100 RPM then open butterflies. Is there a reason that I have not heard of anyone running this? Seems like a good idea to me.
