Ok so i was replacing all of my coolant and heater hoses and i got done with that and was all good, then i was playing with my turbo and tried to move the WG arm of the actuator with my hand and didnt budge at all, is this normal or should i be able to move the arm?? Thanx:confused:

Just put a pair of pliers on it and give it a turn, it will turn easily with there help, if it doesnt want to budge then, don't force it, something else is up.. Do you know it well inside and out? It wasn't welded or something was it..

Im probably being paranoid, ill try the pliers tomorrow, also my turbo doesnt spin too freely anymore it gets kind hard to spin then frees up (doing this with hand) time for a new turbo?

Yea it was bone stock when i bought it in Feb. Everything should be stock so im guessing it hasnt been played with.

Hopefully you're trying to move it the right way :p

You'd KNOW if the WGA was stuck closed or open just by driving the car. Having one get stuck is pretty uncommon. It's supposed to be hard to move.

It takes ~10 psi to crack it open, and it has about 5 square inches of area in the diaphragm... That equals out to 50 lbs of force give or take, with only a 1/4" rod to grab on to.
