When purchasing a new throwout bearing, should I get ACT's or the OEM? are there any downsides to the ACT or whats the difference really

Will actually after ACT's many attempt fail they have since improve their TOB. Many complained that the act had a metal inner part that slides on the input shaft/ i forgot the name. They since replaced it with plastic or whatever you wanna call it.
DSMers complain that the old act tob would slide and degrade the input shaft. I guess act since learned from there mistakes! I'm running the act tob right now, I looked at my oem and it doesn't look as tough or sound of the act. But it's your choice!
