Act 2100 clutch w/ fidanza flywheel ?

I am looking come next year with income taxes to upgrade my drivetrain parts as well as my fuel system.
I am set on my clutch kit being of an act2100 but my concern was the flywheel, will a fidanza flywheel be ok ? My car is my daily driver, and i read the fidanza is only 8 lbs. Is this too light for everyday use or will it be ok ?

I've used Fidanzas in multiple daily driver DSMs over the years with no issues. If you're getting a new clutch, I would get the replacement plate for the flywheel

Depending on your near future plans for the car, you may want to think of a little stronger clutch. My ACT2600 w/ street disk has held up really well for me under daily use. There are many other examples from different companies that will work great as well.

In addition, I would recommend the FP bolt/shim kit to prevent galling of flywheel and ensure proper torque. I always use plenty of Loctite, too.

I had the ACT steetlite on my old 2g GST and it was great. I had the 2100 and streetlite combo and pressure felt almost as if you had a new OEM clutch. Revs were noticeably improved but then again I did the BSEK at the same time.

I am also looking into the 2100 with Fidanza combo now though for the GSX. Fidanza is cheaper...

I have that same set up on my 6 bolt. ACT 2100 with Fidanza aluminum flywheel. I've had both on for at least 4 years now and I've never had any problems.

How is the response when you gun it at a set rolling speed ? Did you notice the difference ? Do the rpm's climb faster ?
