alright so instead of most of you people just telling me to search the forums for my answer can someone actually just answer my question. i am thinking about getting the egr block off kit because my egr valve is bad. i was wandering if the block off kit got rid of the egr solenoid, what do i do with the hoses. i was just assuming that i cap the hoses off but what do i cap them off with. so someone please just answer me, im not trying to be a jerk but everytime that i post something no one answers it they just tell me to search

Cap it off with anything that will fit in there, screw, go to hardware store look for vacuum caps.

the reason people tell ya to search is because, well this topic specifically has been covered a good 3-5 times in the past month or two, and there is also a 10page + thread on this topic, its gets kinda old to regirgitate(sp?) the same info over and over.

Replace the valve. You do not want to run a modern engine without it. It cools the combustion chambers when not under load, and is shut-off when under load. Since tetra-ethyl lead has been removed from gasoline, the old deposits problem has diminished to insignificance.

That's what a search would have found you. We don't foster lazy here.
