um i havent added it up yet but im pretty sure its under $1000. now that i have the downpipe on the spooling sound is quite quieter. but ya i finished the downpipe, only a couple of exhaust leaks left

its actually crushed , the top is smashed in a little bit to make the spring put out more force, preventing any leaking at higher boost.

seems like alot. There used to be so many diehard nt dsm owners on this site. Now they're all coming to their sences and boosting. mine should be done in 2 weeks cause i have to wait for parts.

im not to concerned with the leaks as to why im not cranking up the booost. im more concerned with it being a small turbo and being not intercooled. when i hook up the intercooler, then ill boost it up to 6-7 psi. im running the 12:1 tho

shoddy? dude you should see the weld on the bottom of the mani where the collector connects, it looks like it was factory made(no joke) thats the only part im proud of .

well i gotta take my turbo off tonight and drive my sis's car to school tomarrow cuz i have to cut a plate out to block off the humps on the turbo's flanges and it will be much easier and faster to take the turbo off at my house and bring it in to cut out. that should fix my mean exhaust leak and make me boost sooner and faster

im procrastinating so its still on but im boosting 3-5 psi. it boosts quite slowly and it takes a lot of throttle to boost, because of the exhaust leak. shoule be much better tomarro after i make that plate.

Holy Mary mother of jesus!!! I fixed that exhaust leak at the manifold to turbo connection, and the thing is like night and day. the car boosts so much sooner/faster/smoother its awesome. the spooling is louder(or i can just hear it alot easier with no more leak) and the BOV is much louder and crisper... im happy!

but, as some have asked, i am going to do that write up on how to make the kit very soon. i will probably start tomarrow since its my day off. so guys, just hold your horses a couple more days.
