2G 97 motor thrust washer

ok so i have a stock 97 motor im putting new bearings in it since i spun them and the crank got work done to it, now i usually order from the machine shop but i wanted to order from extremepsi and they have two different sets, one for thrust washers and one without. how do i know if it has the washers so i know what set to get. please reply asap

if your engine is a 97-99 block it has the 3 piece thrust washer design. If its a 92-96 block it has the 360 thrust bearing style.

Not necessarily. Late 97 they stopped the production of the solid thrust, and switched to the split...but they didnt start showing up till late 98 in the engines. I never saw a split thrust newer than mid 98. If its a 97 99% chance its a solid thrust.
