97 GST Coolant Hose Identification

Hey guys I need some help identifying a hose. The nearest dealer is over 100 miles away and were no help over the phone. I sprung a coolant leak on my 97 GST auto. Its a small molded rubber hose that routes above the oil filter and appears to connect to the block. I tried to look it up in a Haynes manual but no luck. Does anyone know what this is? Maybe a factory part number? Its a rubber molded hose about 5/8" in diameter. And where would I be able to get ahold of a shop manual? The same type the dealers have. Thanks!!!!

Sounds like a factory part, take the hose and match up something at a auto store. Some parts are only dealer items.

Id like to order it from the dealer. I try and use OEM as much as possible.

I would recommend going to autozone and seeing if they have your hose first. They may have to order it, but it seems preferable to driving 100 miles.

I like oem too but i pick where i spend my money, hoses, not one oem hose from a dealer on my car, auto store bought or i fabbed something up.

in case you want to redo them all, here is a kit that consists of all the hoses coolant flows through. it really isn't hard to replace all of them either, i had to slice a few off of the firewall but other than that i'm sure you'll find it in here. as far as the one hose is concerned, dealer

Has anyone actually used that ebay samco full coolant line kit? The picture looks good but Samco themselves do not sell that on their website.
