97 GS-T problem????

Hey guys just got a new gst (my first deffinatly an upgrade from my old 97 rs) anyways I have a problem DUH. When after i get on the throttel and release it my rpms drop well below 1000 and the car stalls out. Like the forum said im new to the 4g63 motor. Also when i start up the car it sqieulls (sounds like a belt) but after about 10 secs or so it stops. Hope i left all the nessecary info. thx for reading.

Most likely a boost leak. Build a boost leak tester. http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html

The squealing would be a belt. It stops because as the belt heats up it contracts. Figure out which belt it is and tighten/replace it.

Well i was going through your profile and noticed your not bone stock. That squealing seems like an accesory belt... maybe a alternator belt or AC of the sort. As for your stalling... is ## BOV blowing back into the system? or is it being released in the atmosphere? I ask because I remember when i put my greddy BOV on I put it to the atmosphere for a couple of days to see what the sound was like and I would randomly stall.... But thats probably a 1 out of a 100 chance that can be the problem... just something to throw at. If its is in the atmosphere, toss it back on to the intake with a re-circulator and then let us know.
