2G 96 turbo Rough start sputters and backfires

I've replaced both ignition coils and the ignition control module. The car sometimes starts and runs for 10 seconds or so but then dies it was a daily driver until this happened yesterday any info may help...

In my experience backfiring is more a timing issue than a ignition system issue.
Tell us more about your car and what maintenance has been done. How many miles on the car and when was the Timing Belt last done?

Filling out a profile for your car is a great idea if you're going to hang around.
