i just got my first official dsm. i have a gvr4 to but first dsm.
i did a 6 bolt swap into my 95 talon tsi, still using a 7 bolt head.
im having some major idle issues, its trying to idle at 2600-3000 rpm.
also when i push in the clutch petal it dies almost instantly. the more i push in my clutch the more the idle speed will drop till it shuts off.
THIS IS FIST START UP OF NEW REBUILD.
NEED HELP PLEASE

Did it run normally/properly before the block swap? If so, what else was changed in addition to the block?

You should always do a boost leak test on these cars before you put the motor to it. You likley have a vaccum leak. I recently put a 14b on my 95 and had three leaks to take care of I didn't fathom to leak.
