94 gsx 6 bolt isues

started up the car, no smoke no sputter for about a min then white smoke out of exhaust and slightly outa hood. put it in reverse started to sputter while moving, and smoke came out of exhaust. checked coolant, no oil pulled dipstick no coolant. I don't know if its a sensor or anything. any ideas?

when was the last time you changed the oxygen sensors? and the last time you did a tune up?

Same thing happend to a miata i owned. Just started smoking one day. It turned out it was stuck oil rings. a compression test or a leak down test wont show stuck oil rings. If you dont know what burnt oil smells like, heat some up on a butter knife and smell it. Then smell the smoke coming out of the car. If it is stuck oil rings you can try sucking seafoam into a vacume line, but dont hydrolock a piston. Is the car consuming alot of oil?

It was actually a car I went to look at in MN. I live in Wi and drove 800miles to see this car. I already have 3 1g dsms, and I am trying to get my buddy into the Dsm game, so I went to look at this car with him, and that was what the guy told me. I saw this car and was like huh. the outside was primer black and looked respectable, but the engine was just total garbage. the guy led me to believe they were just small problems, but after looking at it, and driving it, it was the biggest hunk of sh*t iv ever set my a$$ into. This car gave DSm's a bad rep. oil was everywhere when I looked under the hood. I went through everything on the car, and came to the conclusion that the head was cracked, and that is why oil was everywhere. So much oil leaked out of the exhaust side of the block that oil went all over the alternator and wrecked it. Also the turbo was blown, the car would just sputter when you barley hit like 5lbs of boost, and the coolant light was on and only went off under boost, and it still had coolant. This car was worth 500 bucks in parts, not 2100$ cash. So even a tripped wasted, tomorrow We are off again to Cascade Iowa to look at a really clean 91 talon tsi. it has a 110K original miles, with a new Auto trans and tcase. also has many other new oem replacement parts. The guy sent me pictures of every square inch of this car, and it looks promising, hopefully we can pick it up and drive it home!
