Just like it says I am sick of searching for hours on end looking for a way to hook up my fuel line to my rail using a 6AN line. I bought the adapter from autoalchemy but its to big (meant for the turbo) but I thought I would try and I am out of ideas please help!!! I also emailed slowboy and fuel injector clinic, but have not heard anything yet.

This is what i did and it worked great. I went to napa and had them make me 2 pieces of that good hydrolic hose. One piece had two 4an female ends and the other had one 4an end and one 6 an end. I put a 1/8 npt female tee inbetween the two pieces for my gauge source. This cost me less then 25 bucks and worked great. Also I covered the ugly black hydrolic hose in loom and i looks good if you are into that sort of thing. Good luck.

Mark or someone from slowboy should get back to you in 2 days or so they are pretty good about that stuff. I would try calling them.

If adapters don't end up working for ya, you could try a obx fuel rail, or buying a custom made one off ebay, or having one made so that you can just put the 6-an fitting right in. I'm running 8-an in, and 6-an out.

I know the stock one is suffcient but I just found it easier to make one out of fuel rail stock. Only problem I had was the brackets that were made for it were a litttle weak, and under a lot of presssure the injectors would push them back causing the car to leak fuel. Fixed that with some heavy duty welds.

Well finally decided that I am going to get rid of the little elbow fitting close the hole, and just drill a hole straight into the plug on the side and weld a -6AN bung in. That should work right?

Weld? WTF

I guess... it'd be tricky though. Those fuel rails are aluminum; and crappy aluminum at that. You'd be safer tapping the hole, getting a threaded fitting, and putting it all together with some epoxy.

Yes thats the same one I have, and it does work great, however you will want to renforce the brackes with some better welded tabs so if your like me and had 12:1 FMU pushing on that thing the injectors don't push thems selves out of the slot.

Just some advice about that. But I do love that fuel rail, made everything so much easier to install.

hmm...looks like something I might be interested in when going ms soon :rocks:

Looks nice but I am over budget already. I just installed a -6AN feed and used my stock feed as return. Since mine is the 97 with the return at the tank I figured this would be an easier route to install my aeromotive afpr, but it was still a pain in the ass. I am sure there is an easier way and I looked but I could not find anything that would work for me so I made my own way!

you are supposed to unhook the return at the tank

put your aeromotive in the engine bay so it gets a good vacuum source

then run the return from the aeromotive

i used 6an in and then 6an return

russells hardline and superstock hoses

Yeah I am just running a new 6AN line for feed with a new filter to the engine bay were it goes into fuel rail, out 6AN into afpr and from that using my stock feed line as a return. Should work, probably more work than I need to do but thats the only way I could get fittings and all the crap. Since my choice is kinda limited.

I have been making those rails for about 2 years (1 year before Ross offered them, guess I should have looked into a patent?) for a select few members on 2gnt. I would advise using a steel bracket, I have found the alum ones are too soft. 150 is too high as well. I was selling them for 120.00 shipped with fittings.

You can also braze a 6an fitting to your stock rail, a few members have done that and had good luck.

Thanks Talon I just ended up tig welding a -6AN bung on. I ended up splicing open the crimped on bracket with a grinder, undid it and welded the bung to the end of the adapter. Dont know if it works yet will try it tonight. I also tool some pictures get them on here when I get home.
