I just i finished my 6 bolt swap and it was running super rich 10 - 11:1. I did a boost leak test and fixed them now its air tight except for it leaking out the oil dip stick tube? Does that mean my PCV isn't working right? And after trying to figure out why I m still running rich I remembered I have a 255 hp walbro pump and with research I found that the stock fpr can't handle it. I have a Barry grant fpr and a Magnus fuel rail that was on my 2.4l. I can just use the stock fuel rail and hook up the fpr but It would be easier just to set up my Magnus fuel rail with the fpr as its already to go with no modifications needed, but my question is, is it to big to be running the stock injectors with the stock fuel pressure.??

Thanks

I just modified my 2g rail for the mean time til I get my emissions pass. Then when I swap my injectors turbo SMIM ill run the Magnus rail as the 1g intake gets in the way of the 1" lines.

Another question I'm curious about is will it be okay to run my FMIC with a 14b I've done research and everyone is saying to stay with the side mount and its not a cost effective upgrade. But if I already have it will it be too much volume for the 14b it's 3" thick. Don't remember the width or length but I was running a fp red @20 psi on the 2.4L 6 bolt. The reason I want to run that is because I'm running a mocked up uicp which getting boost leaks I just did a boost leak test and fixed them took it for a drive down the road and ran like shit when I got back. Poor vacuum -8 -10 it was at. -18 at idle when I left. Car has been a headache since I bought it a year ago and still haven't been able to enjoy the car at all.

Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Its not a cost-effective upgrade, because a 14b will not heat soak the side-mount. Your just not going to get a big drop in intake air temps, so that is why most don't bother.

It won't hurt you much if any, I would guess a bit of turbo lag due to the increased volume that will have to be charged. Do the install while its nice out, installing an upgraded turbo down the road will be a simple job at that point.

I'll only be running the 14b for a few weeks til I can get a tune on AEM with my other upgrades.

What would a stock head gasket be good for? Hp and psi wise. I've upgraded to arp head studs when I did all the gaskets. Just didn't plan on running anything crazy on this motor as I have a 2.3L being built. and would rather put a $250 head gasket on that instead of a 1200$ stock engine. But would like to jump upto 300- 350 awhp. With the stock head and block. I have all the supporting mods for 450-500.
