You do know that 6 bolt and 7 bolt engines use different seal housings right? And i believe that he is looking for the ring that holds the seal in, and not the seal housing itself.

Yeah but he tried man. Thanks for the help but he's right, you're posting the wrong PN.

I need the little metal ring that presses the seal in and holds it in place. If you search a rear main seal housing on ebay you will see that it comes with the retaining ring. It's a little piece of like tin and probably costs $1.50 from JNZ I just don't know that PN.

I have a rear seal housing I pulled from a virgin 6 bolt. I never noticed anything like that. Yall have me curious now.

It's probably just so black that it blends in with the old seal at this point.

On a side note, when installing this oil separator, make sure that the tab with the drain hole drilled in it is in the 6 o'clock position.

A lot of people seem to miss this.
