6 bolt only tuned on 5psi with 20g and sup mods?

They take an MHI turbo, maybe switch up the turbine housings, slap their name on it, and sell it for 2x as much.

The product Hahn sells was actually an out-of-the box TD05H 20G with the part number 49178-04600.

They took the turbo out of the box from Mitsu, milled the compressor cover to clear the water pipe and also cut the 10cm turbine housing to clear the block...then attached a shitty adapter to make it bolt to our manifold, their own "custom" o2 housing, and topped it off with a 90* elbow on the compressor outlet to make it a bolt-on (L O L) upgrade for a 2G at a ridiculous price.

Same thing Greddy had going there in the late 90's / early 2000's with the 18G, only Greddy actually used an actual 8cm DSM bolt-on turbine housing with no goofy adapters....but still too expensive.

OP, how far above sea level are you? I see your from Selma which (after looking it up) is only 125ft above sea level, im not sure that would be enough to justify my theory on the time differences.

In any case jared, any car can be a nice car if built properly with 0 (or at least little questionable) rice added to it. I don't believe that people here hate Honda, I believe they simply dislike its platform. Even the gst eclipses feel the flames here on the forums. AWD/Turbo/solid motor is something that seems to be a proven, "sworn by" platform. If you've ever had to take two similar products and weigh the pros/cons of the two, then comparing Honda vs DSM for performance, modability, cost per mod, yadda.... yadda... the DSM would win. If you don't believe that then you can try writing all of the pros and cons of both vehicles (in the subject that you most care about) and see which one ends up with the most pro's.

I am not sure you are probably right about altitude. I am most definitely looking forward to the awd platform cause facing facts they could destroy mine off the line and I love the 2g styling. Mt car is decent on roll run but that's no fun

Well to the OP's credit, they could be at high altitude. If they are up there in the mountains then they would run (im guessing) somewhere between .6-1 second slower on their times which would make sense.

Just to reply- Our dodge colt did a 11.6 on a 16g at bandimere, which is quite a ways up there in altitude. Look for the red 92 colt on youtube and you'll see the runs. Multiple low 12's and a couple 11's.

Tons of dealers were replacing blocks on 2gs still in the warranty period. It's a real problem. Sure every car can crankwalk, but 2g dsm's do it at a much higher rate. Look at it like this, anyone can wreck a car, but drunk drivers have a way better chance.

Oh and thanks for the info dert, everyone has had something to say about crankwalk, I have the belief that maintenance is the key to keep any car running. When you notice something is off or wring fix it, don't wait for it to break completely before you worry about it! If I smell oil or coolant I'm elbows deep trying to find out why and where its coming from.

You will also notice that 90% of the dealer replaced crank walk issues were done so with less than 60,000 miles. If your crank hasn't walked and your at 100k+, chances are if you have a problem it's not crank walk. It is far more over rated than what everyone thinks.
