ok, my friend wants to know what the difference is between the 6 bolt and 7 bolt motor. I dont really know, but id like 2 also, so thanks.
 
The fly-wheel is held on with 6 bolts on the 6 bolt version and 7 bolts on the 7 bolt version. :D
 
And... oh yeah... THE SEVEN BOLT'S A PIECE OF SHIT! ROFL

Oh well, not really, but a VERY small percentage of them get crankwalk. That's for sure. I'll be swapping out my very soon for a six bolt. I got all the parts except pistons and rods.
 
6 bolts came in the 1990 and 1991 DSMs. 7 bolts from 92 and up. The number of bolts on the flywheel indicate weather it's a 6 bolt or 7 bolt. 6 bolts on the flywheel means it's a 6 bolt and so on. The 6 bolts came with stronger rods.
