Well ive been rebuilding my 2nd DSM. Its a 92 Talon TSI AWD woo hoo. And this time its street leagle unlike my GSX wich is a fully rally built car and as illegal as can be LOL.
Well anyways I cant find the date that the 92 DSMs stopped being 6 bolt and were made into 7 bolts. So if some 1 could give me the manufactures info on that id really appreciate it. For instance lets say december 92 is when they stopped making it as 6 bolt. Well thats my question and if anyone can help me id really appreciate it. I just wanna know wich one I got. Thanks
Jeff

From what i hear it was june of 92.. exactly 92.5.. If you have a late 92 esp. december it is probably a 7

ok thanks man. i forgot what mine is. but im hoping its not a 7 bolt. do you know if all 7 bolts get crank walk? and is crank walk the only real problem/difference between 6 and 7 bolt?

Check how the oil pan looks. 6/7 bolts have different ones IIRC.

You are correct. The 7 bolt oil pan is pretty unique. I dont recall exactly what the difference is, but you know what? I dont think Ive EVER seen a 7 bolt 92. Any 92 Ive ever looked at were 6 bolts.

Ok thanks so much guys :D And you just gave me an idea. Since I have a 90 gsx and you said the 7 bolt oil pan is different ill just look at my GSX oil pan and see if its same as the 92 Talon oil pan. Thanks for the idea mates.
Cheers
