No way I can get the car together by then. I've been dragging my feet again. Need to find a machinist in LI to drop off stuff. On a side note, DG suspension is near finished, just need to get shock boots. Poly bushing install in the works. Looks like the Jeep is heading to the meet.

My attempt to use pieces of bicycle tire tubes didn't work.

Maybe some boots for motorcycle shocks would work. Ones for the front forks. Like a little kid's 50cc deal.

I intend on attending the meet again this year. Nonetheless, a previous, serious work injury has re-emerged, bringing back its problematic symptoms. Although current, ongoing spine treatments have been beneficial, I am not certain about enduring the lengthy drive to, and from, the meet. At the end of this month, I shall have to determine my condition, and I shall hopefully decide that the meet’s enjoyment outweighs my symptoms. Certainly, the meet’s gratification could diminish my irritating, as well as depressing, symptoms.

Due to my situation, I am not going to pledge to bring specific food items (or parts), yet I shall bring some food (and parts) if I attend.


Coincidentally, I was wondering if anyone has an extra OEM appearing oil sensor switch. It does not have to work, or be good looking, since I only need it as a prop in a small claims court procedure. I could acquire it at this meet. I misplaced my switch after displaying it to several individuals during many inspections of all my ruined engine parts. If it is sensible, then I can gladly return it after the trial. Also, I have many various hoses, and parts, for compensation/trade.

I have no idea how I didn't see this until now. I really want to go this year, but seeing as I'm currently looking for a job and trying to repaint the Talon by the end of the summer, I may not be able to justify paying for that much gas for one day. We'll see though.

So Coca-Cola decided to cut costs this summer by NOT giving away free cases of water to it's employees. Last summer, I got 5 cases every 2 weeks. This summer, they're charging $2.50/case.

Oh, and it only cost $0.79 to make a case of water. And there are only 100 employees at the plant I'm at. HUGE cost savings for a billion dollar company...


I'll still bring all the bottled water though.
