WTF what a efin day was today..... I tried to paint my hatch (red) to match the color of the car.I went to buy the paint (Sherwin Williams G36 everett green).The guy mixed for me at the store.Got home, put couple layers of the base coat and it came out lighter then a car. I was soo pissed.Bought a quart, spent 85 bucks just for nuttin.... Well at lest the hatch is not red anymore... but still..... Afternoon i tried to play with Link.Went for a couple of the WOT pulls to lean out some more AFR,because i switch to a bigger meth injection nozzle. Made it work,car pulled really good.made it run at 11.6 afr and 21 deg of timing with no knock at 31psi.Was happy as hell.Then on a way home from my test road i saw smokes commin out of a tail pipe.Stopped the car and i saw white smoke. Got home,checked compression 1.2 and 3rd cyl had 145,4th one had 20 Yaaay Blew my Cometic multi layer steel headgasket. Went to ExtremePsi,thanks god im like 15 mins away from them and bought a FelPro PermaTorque MLS Head Gasket.So its good ,that i got couple days to fix that. Hope ill make it.

And Ill bring like 4 bags of chips and a couple dozen burgers....unless we need more hotdogs because "a big box" doesnt really explain how many

I think the big box has 48. Some things have come up and i probably can't come, so you can bring them.

So we have a definite 3 dozen (36) hamburgers coming (with Gregory bringing an unknown amount), some chicken, and no hot dogs.


A BUNCH OF PEOPLE NEED TO STEP UP AND BRING SOME MEAT PLEASE!!! If people don't step up by tomorrow afternoon, I may have to make a trip to Costco and pick some up. If I do, I may ask people to contribute some money.

As far as I know, there isn't a grocery store by the state park. Coming from NJ, assuming via 476, if you get off at the exit for Rt. 3/West Chester Pike there's some on there. Then the state park isn't very far. Those are the closest ones that aren't out of the way.

Take some logs on the way down (idle, cruise, a 3rd gear pull if you feel comfortable) and I'm sure a couple of us could help you with it.

I have 3 cases of water already, but because of the temps, I'll probably grab 2 or 3 more.

My brother's grad party was 2 weeks ago, and 90 people went through 6 cases because of the heat.

Hope it went well for everyone and that there were no accidents or reckless driving. Wish I could have made it but leaving OBX at 11am wouldnt get me there. I'm still on the road with about 200 miles to go.
