i have 3 eagle talons... 2 tsi fwd sticks "4g63"........ a esi stick "420A" .... and a automatic awd tsi "4g63"...... what are my possibilities?.... LOL "not 100% on the 4g63's... positive about the 420A...

the tsi sticks are a 95 and a 96... the other two are 95's...

tsi awd has front left driver damage... worth the fix?? im going to buy it tomorrow... will post pictures.

also i would like to know what is the radiator looking thing in the front left wheel well?... it has like some sort of motor next to it?... also what would that motor be?

wow i don't know how you didn't confuse yourself typing that up...
lets see if i can get this straight.
1. 95 M/T tsi
2. 96 M/T tsi
3. 95 M/T esi
4. 95 A/T tsi awd

im going to answer what i think your asking and i think your asking about swapping the 4g63t out of the tsi awd (because it has drivers side damage?) into the esi?
if thats the case, heres the search i came up with http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/search.php?searchid=7672711 and it looks like you've got A LOT of reading on your hands.
IMO i would take interior/exterior stuff from the esi to fix the awd tsi...

and the radiator looking thing your talking about, is it only on the A/T tsi awd? if so then its the A/T cooler NOT a radiator.

:dsm:

Its pretty time consuming, with the fabbing. And not worth it IMO unless you want to stay busy.....

well i have pondered this one myself ..... A lot........ if you look at the 4g63 in your tsi and then go look at your 420a in your efi. you will notice that the motors are opposite to one another in the engine compartment. and both 4g63 AND 420A rotate in the same direction. so you would not be able to to a straight over swap. also the bolt patern and bell houseing's for the transmissions are very differant. in order to do a true conversion from a 420a to a 4g63 requires a bit of fab work in replaceing the motor mount flanges wich are welded to the strut towers they would need to be swaped to the opposit side of the engine compartment and also the sub fram would have to be swaped out. the car elctical control units or ( ecu ) would have to be swapped out along with the whole wireing harnse, doing this will get you into a big headache the wireing under the dash is also a bit differant than the wireing in a 4g63. you would have to locate the gage cluster wires and wire them to the 4g63 ecu for your tac and check engine light you would also have to rewire your speed scensor to the 4g63 set up. you will also need to plum up a intercooler and redo your exhaust as well as your fuel system. it is do able if you want to put in the time and the dime. my honest opion, dont waste your time, you already have a tsi
