Ok thanks for the info I'm gonna try prying and hammering today when I get home I'll keep everyone updated.

Well i got the pulley off with a pry bar and a rubber mallet but now i gotta try to find a lower timing cover because mine was in worse shape then i thought.
YOu do not need to remove the crank pulley bolt to remove the crank pulley. You'll need to muscle it off, you can carefully pry it off, whack it with a non-metal hammer etc...Sometimes they get a little stuck on there. Be careful if you decide to pry, this is the main reason why good 6 bolt lower timing covers are so hard to come by.

if you have the car secured with jackstands and such, kick on the left and right side a few times and it'll come lose after a few kicks, you must be laying on the ground kicking like a 2 year old. works for me. :)
