Hi, I'm new, I'm from Spain.
I have 3 MITSUBISHI Mirages from 1989, 1 Mirage c53a turbo 4g63, another c53a but 1.5 auto and a c62 4-door gti 16v 4g67 (4g63 but less travel)

I would like to know if there is any way to fix these 6-bolt engines synchronize the cams so that it gains power at high revs and loses a little at low revs, because being asthmatic because the high ones run out of air and stretch the rpm very costly.

I ask this because once I did my timing belt (badly) and I don't know what happened but the engine was perfect, it started and ran fine but it seemed that it had 272 hks cams or something like that hahahaha for pra it looked like a ported wankel, and curiosity forced me to test the car, and surprisingly at high rpm it was a very aggressive patient and at low times it failed a lot, well it did not fail, but that, it seemed that it had cams of many degrees at idle, it was like a wankel.

The ENTIRE engine is 100% stock, exhaust, cam pulleys, air filter, everything, the car It's like 89 and today I'm going to do the time again with everything new and I wanted to know if anyone knows how that happened and if they know how to do it.

I did it with my innocence, logically it was years ago and I put everything back ok, but I would appreciate your comments.

Sounds like you put the timing belt incorrectly. Please download and refer the PDF file below. That PDF shows only the section of how to remove/install the timing belt in the factory service manual.
