once again ... why not just buy a turbo model?

He makes a good point, but hey, sounds like a fun project. What I would like to know is what in the hell the advantages are of the n/t 420A VS the n/t 4g63? If I remember corectly the 4g63 makes a few more hp, and has a tad bit larger displacement.

yea so I'm wondering now myself .. why is the 420A not "boost friendly" ... like what are it's weak points? I just got a 1995 talon that's non turbo and I want to either turbo that or just do the swap. ( got a great deal on the car and it will be a daily driver )

:dsm: wrong... 140 for the 420a... and 190 for a manual 4g63 turbo engine... , reason for not buying a turbo model... because its hard to find someone who wants to buy ur na in the 1st place, and they cost more as a first choice car. :talon:

I do belive we are talking about the n/t 4g63 not the turbo 4g63. I still see not point in swaping the 420A for a 4g63. Are you doing it for the 5 HP? Hell you could get 5 hp from a home made CAI with not air can. Total cost of that...$15 bucks. Toal cost of swaping motors...$3,500. Being a dumbass... priceless.

theres no dumbass here if i actually did it u retard... dont hate cause u dont got the cash to do it i own a 97 gsx also so dont try act all hard... ur not up on 1/4 mile times.... dont hate cause its easier swap then a dumb honda... dont make things so complicated... look at a gst look at a rs/gs motormount holes for gst mounts are there, they only made 1 body dont make it complicated.

I don't hate becuase I don't have the money to do it, I hate because I see no benifets of swaping an NON-Turbo 4g63 with a NON-Turbo 420A! Please explain to me the BENIFETS of the swap.

why the hell is this in the tuning forum? learn to post

dont do this swap

its a ridiculous waste of time

you spend a shitload of time, energy, resources, and money to get the performance of a stock turbo dsm. does that make much sense to you.

have fun with the wiring... :thumbdown

thats kind of not your problem leave that to the professionals, what resources? your making no sense, you buy a damn 1g car which is cheap as hell working or not and all u need is the engine bay harnest, we now sell the dash harnest for only 300 bucks, money? under 3 grand and we provide all free mods and 1st 3 mods to get your car up there plus a port of your turbo? ya not a waste of time and ive done the swap 7 times now. Got pictures to prove it. [email protected]
