420A 420a starts, battery light, dies.

1995 ESi, 420a. 200k on body, 75k on motor. I just recently got it. No mods.

A few days after I got it, it died on me. The battery was completely drained. Replaced it. It's been running fine for the past few weeks but randomly the battery light would come on then off. Suddenly, the battery light didn't go out anymore but still ran fine. Then, it finally started dying (lights dimming, SRS light coming on, etc.) I thought it was a loose terminal (it did have one) so I replaced it. It'll start, idle for about 20 minutes then start to die. If driven, it'll die within a minute or two, get jumped, then do the process all over again.

Alternator?

Yes. That would be the first check.

Check your alternator. But start with the fuse, belt, then actual alt itself

haha I think my car is starting to do the same thing right now. i took it to go get the battery and altenator checked at autozone and it ended up being fine but for some reason for 2 days the battery kept dying and once I took the battery to get charged at autozone its been running good. Sometimes I wonder if my car has a mind of its own. Right now im just runing my car and trying to see if it will keep draining and if so gotta get a new battery and luckly I got warranty on it

If the battery and alternator our good its a loose ground somewhere causing a parasitic drain on the battery. While terminals are a good place to start, they are not the only grounds that can screw the battery
