420A Check Engine Light (12) (42) (55)

Dear Dsm lovers..,

I drive a 420A nonturbo eclipse from 1996 and live in the Netherlands..,
My car doesn,t want to start.., i did the keydance and came up with these codes..,

12 42 55

Does somebody maybe know the problem why my car won,t start?

42 = bad MFI (ASD) relay or it's connector or circuit.
12 and 55 are normal codes.
12 = Power to PCM was disconnected (battery disconnected).
55 = end of codes.

By the way, your English is fine and we are happy to help. The only improvement you could do would be to use an apostrophe instead of a comma on the words won't and doesn't. The apostrophe is the key to the left of the Enter key (with the " above it).
Are parts hard to get there?

Yea it ain't easy for my car.., the Eclipse that i drive was imported from the States to the Netherlands.
Because most other Eclipse drivers have the european model with the 4g63 engine in it.
If i go here to the mitsubishi dealer to order something,there computer does not recordnice my VIN# neither does the Dodge/chrysler dealer :S
So i have to read and learn a lot from this forum..

If i need parts if usually order them on Ebay US and have to wait a month or so..
That really Sucks..!!

Anyway thanks for the meaning on the Codes..,
