420a 98 rs ticking noise all the time..

I purchased this 98 green rs with the 420a manual car.. When i purchased it the guy told me that he has had the car for 10K and its been ticking like this.. I pulled the oil pan and the valve cover today and didnt find anything the pan is clean i just cleaned it more and the valve cover there is no signs of any damage.. So its gotta be the lifter or is there some thing else.. It ticks all the time.. Drive fine.. what should i do i need it to stop ticking..

should i just buy those 75$ shipped of ebay 16 lifters or is there some other way of fixxing this.. It ticks i check the oil pan its clean nothing is out of the ordinary unless there is some thing else that could be ticking.. to a normal person it sounds not normal and that some thing is wrong.. So should i just spend the 75 and get them ####ing lifters.s. are they hard to replace.. Just compress them and have the oil get sucked up in them and then install them...

Ok which ones should i buy.. and is there any tricks to replacing them.. and write ups.. or u think i could fix the ticking with out buying new ones.. HELP

Best go to your Dodge/Chrysler dealership and get the lifters from them since that's a Dodge motor in that thing.

There's also a good possibility that the cam may have to be replaced as well if the followers aren't the roller type, but just a slide follower type.

Dodge OHC motors have a bad tendency of the cam lobes wearing out with slide type followers.

ahh mine are roller rockers with the lifters at the end.. so im just gonna replace them and try to blow out the oil holes..
