3rd gen maf

I was reading that a thrid gen maf out of a v6 gt would work on our car b/c it flowed all most as much air as the evo 8 maf. i have a part number for the maf MD336501 but i am not sure if this is the correct one. Any info on this would be great.Thanks.

I have never heard about this and I've been a long time member on another forum. On a 1g I would stick with the 2g maf or maf-t. Then theres also the fact that you have to figure out all the wiring, too much work I think.

I think the maf or maft I am looking for ends in with (482). I know on the dsm chips site you can select as a maf for your chip.

The only difference between a 3g and the Evo MAS is the air horn cover. Overall, however, they are the same in use.

Are you saying that as far as performance, the 3g maf and Evo 8 maf are the same?

Yes. They all meter the same.
