3g back seats

That's awesome, there's always 3Gs in my local salvage yard with black interiors.

Does anyone know if the front 3G seats bolt into the 2Gs?

Black leather was common in 3Gs as well as the 2000-2005 Dodge Stratus coupes, and Chrysler Seabring coupes. All 3 had the same chassis' and interiors, minus some trim details. Probably 90% identical, just like 2G DSMs and '95-'99 Avengers and Seabrings.

I also swapped belts to all black 3g belts but its custom work.

This is awesome, looks like i'll finaly be getting rid of those nasty ripped cloths that came with the car. My buddy looking to swap his avenger to black leather will be excited too.

the only thing you may even notice is that the 3g seat backs are slightly higher. an i mean ONLY you will notice. look at the seatback release area. the 3g plastic is slightly higher there. and im being picky.

For Retry_1, I don't think DSM seats or the 3G seats will fit into your buddie's Avenger. I've picked through a couple Avengers in the junk yard, and the rear seats are different. It's all because the Avengers have a normal trunk deck lid, so the inside frame work is also different. The bottom seat cusions are a little longer and the seat backs are taller.

Yeah, that post was before i actually had looked at his car close. I knew the front seats were essentially the same, but hadn't checked out his back seat and just assumed they were close enough. We did some measurements earlier and sadly it won't fit. but it shouldn't be too hard for him to find leather interior from another Avenger or Sebring.

No fronts are not bolt in, They will need custom or modified brackets. rears are bolt in.

Bump for an old post... are we sure these are actually leather?

I picked up a set from a 00 GT. They look identicle to the ones in the pics, but when I got home I looked closer at them. The edges of the material definitely looks like foam backed vinyl.

Bonded leather maybe?
