hey guys, Just currious if you guys removed ur back seats? Cause i mean, who can actualy sit back there? I always thought Our cars should have been 2 seaters.

Anyways. how many have you? and what did you do to fill the Void????

I still have rear seats, but EVERYTHING behind them is stripped out. It's like a black hole, shit falls in there and I don't ever see it again.

im thinking on taking mine out. the subs sound like crap in the back of a spyder, especially with the top folded down, little bass ever makes it through. i was thinking on doing like a custom fiberglass setup, but im a loser and dont know fiberglass, so itll never happen. but yeah nobody sites in the back of my car, only very few, but those were for special events and illegal activities. we wont go there.

I took every thing out to go the the track one time. I didnt help! That seat only weighs 6 pounds. If your cars were a 2 seater we would be paying even more $$ for Insurance. Kinda like the MR2!!!!:talon:

there is no way you can do any illegal activities in the back of a spyder....i tried....doesnt work...ne ways get a box where the sub faces towards the cab in between the bottom of the top thing and the bottom of the car...sounds great in mine

I took mine out for awhile because I was tired of people mooching rides. But it looks ghetto. I plan on taking them out, maybe a fiberglass floor back there or carpet over it... eventually.

I know another 1G'er was replacing them with RX-7 storage bins, I think that also may have been done before.

I took out the bottom part of the seat and then lowered the back rest down so it is like a ramp. I think it looks pretty good with the hatch cover thing there, and I can still keep things in the trunk. I was planning on carpeting it but I like the way it looks now better. It looks a whole lot smoother.

i'm gonna take out the back rest part and mount a sub in its place. that way if needed i can still have somone sit back there and i still can use as storage.

Not the clearest pic ever, perhaps a photo concentrating on the aforementioned area would better serve the situation.

off ebay but what did he search for? I swear I tried RX-7, bins, storage bins, nothing. I saw pics of the other modded one but a link to a search that FOUND them or an active auction? I totally gutted the back of my car, w/o something in the back seat place, it'll look like crap. I'm totally repainting my interior black/red, and cut a piece of plexiglass to fit where the rear carpet used to go. Will have it painted black and cut in half so I can hide the amp(s) under there and will act as a false floor. The bins will hide the subs and it should look pretty flush, if not I can raise my false floor. Anyway, links to these bins? I even did a "salvage yard" mass email and nothing :thumbdown :thumbdown

Where can i get some cheap/good (black carpet) for my back seat and trunk.

That or it was designed after those chocolate milk commercials. You guys know what I"m talking about, where they make the kid sister hop up and down on a pogo stick until the milk is mixed. So that's what your big brother does, makes you run your car with the milk between the speakers until it's blended?? :thumb: Looks pretty neat but it's to out in the open asking to get robbed if you know what I mean :D :D :D BLIIINNNGGG! :shhh: :shhh: :shhh:

EuroGSTSpyder, my hat is off to you. Nice fiberglass work. How many hours do you have in that?

too many ;-) Thanx for the compliment though

No its ripped put again for a new setup...Wnt look like this any more...
Pics of the new style and the new look of the car to come on a month or two.
