woo hoo! Abel racing out of midwest city, oklahoma helped me reach 320whp at 17psi tuning without an e-prom and using afc-neo and a maft only... also we were running too much timing so we didnt wanna push it too far as this is my daily driver so this is a very safe tune. i would recommend abel to anyone in the area they are awesome people to work with and very affordable. next trip im bringing my e-prom and we are hoping for above 400whp.

That is a nice clean 1g. Nice setup man its a beast. IMO id get rid of that obx exhaust mani, tubular mani's dont do much anyway.

If it's a 38mm 2 bolt flanged Tial its probably a Green, as the 3150 comes with a 44mm V-band flange cast into the turbine housing. Some older FP turbine housings did have the 2 bolt flange IIRC, but I dont know if they ever sold the 3150 with that flange. That should not be a laggy turbo, when do you see full boost?

EDIT: I did some looking and I think the older style FP turbine housing was flanged for an old school Tial 40mm, in which case you almost definitely have a Green, that would be the only other FP 50 trim variant it could be, unless they made a turbo I'm not aware of.

yeah someone toild me it might just be a garrett hybrid that the previous owner got from fp... and also the turbo has a 4 inch inlet if that helps

dam thats pretty fn good and it makes me wonder on my setup .i wonder how much i can make with my mods and 35-37 psi.. proably only 400 :( .i didnt notice is it fwd or awd ???

Well his username is 90 Talon TSi FWD so I'd have to assume it's FWD... but damn keeping that power down must be a bi***. :ohdamn:

If it is a Mitsu/Garrett hybrid 50 trim it's almost definitely the Green. It's a 50 trim comp wheel mated to a TDO6H turbine wheel in a bolt on housing. The only other 50 trim variant they sell is teh FP3150, but that's a full BB Garrett 50 trim in a FP30 housing, probaly not what you have. The Green has only a three inch inlet though, but the only intake pipe FP makes is a 4 inch one, so that might explain why you say it's a 4 inch inlet. If the actual inlet on the comp cover is 4 inches, I'm not sure what it is, maybe something custom. I don't think the FP Red has a 4 inch inlet, and anyway that uses a 60-1 comp wheel, not a 50m trim.

Does it look kinda like that?

You mean A Borg Warner S256? Well, maybe, but FP doesn't sell them, nor are they a Mitsu/Garrett hybrid 50 trim, a BW S256 is it's own thing entirely separate from both Mitsubishi and Garrett. I seriously doubt that it's a S256 if anything the OP has said so far is true.

MySpace

its says it either delted or private
hmmm let me try something else.... go to my profile i hav e pics on there

Those are really good numbers for only 17psi. I have a straight garrett 57 trim and only did 320 @ 20psi on pump, but there were lots of issues on the dyno that day. I'm now running 30+ psi on E85 and i love it

Sounds like your tune is doing great however! All your myspace pics keep showing as private, you probably need to change the folder to public.
