Hello, I’m new to the forum, but I’m familiar with it. My car has been smoking under the hood lately. Bought the car pretty rough they really didn’t take good care of it and there’s oil all over the engine. I’ve cleaned it up mostly, but it’s leaking. I’ve replaced the valve cover and the oil pan gasket. Went ahead and did all the wires and plugs as well. It’s a 420a auto.
I put videos of a light smoke and heavy smoke from a 20 min drive and a 30+ drive.

Solution
I'm assuming the smoke is from oil running down onto the exhaust?

Check your oil pressure sensor on the backside of the block. They tend to leak when they get older, in some cases they come loose if not properly tightened. If that is leaking the oil will seep down onto the downpipe and smoke.

Just an update, it ended up being the sensor. I really appreciate the help I thought it was gonna be way worse and more expensive. Lol!
