Resolved 2GNT 420A alternator bolts

i need the alternator bolt sizes & everything that just holds the alternator in place, mine have recently fallen off & came undone somehow so i need all the bolts & nuts to replace them, iv tried going to the junkyards around here & all the ones iv found are just rusted to crap & useless plus i figured new ones would be best since iv also got a new alternator, also since i dont have the old ones or cant get ones off a junk car i dont know the sizes at all, please help!

Those partnumbers are the same for a 98 GS NT yeah? I'm needing the adjusting bolt

They are problably dealer only bolts then. I just came from home depot and pretty much grabed every bolt and nut close to those specs I'm about to find out if they work

Hey Guys -

Wanted to say thanks for this post, since I was missing the Adjusting Bolt on my 99 420a RS. I was able to go down to Lowe's and grab what I needed, however there is one correction.
On my car, the part listed as 14799U, was actually an M8 x 1.25, not an M10 x 1.50. Maybe someone lost the whole assembly at some point, and grabbed the other bolt from something else, but whatever the reason, it's different.

Also, in doing this, found that the slotted part of the bracket was actually broken, and a piece was missing, so I need to find another one.

Anyone know where I can find another bracket, without having to go to a yard and pulling it myself?
