2G 2gb Talon side strake clips

Does anyone know if the clips that hold the strakes onto the door on my 2gb talons use the same clips as sideskirts?

Both of my talons have loose side strakes and need new clips. Search only comes up with sideskirt info. Thanks!

I have the side strakes, I just need the clips that hold them to the body.

They look very similar to the clips on my 2ga twisty side skirts. And a google search only comes up with side skirt clips, nothing to do with side strakes.

I just pulled a clip from my spare strakes, here are some pictures. Closest thing I could find for a Mitsubishi part number was MB344789. No idea if my clips are original, they were a pain to remove, so maybe they were. Googling that part number shows some other images with dimensions close to what I measure, but it's not an identical match. Good info, looks like number 9 is a different clip too. I didn't catch that one when I was looking at my strakes.

Would you happen to know if that #9 MR311006 part number crosses to something else? I cant seem to find anything that would work for it.

I do not. Matter of fact, MR311006 does not appear in any of Mitsubishi’s parts programs. There’s likely a suitable replacement out there somewhere but without one of those physically to compare to, I am of no further help.

Just want to update people that I found a readily available replacement clip for the MR311006 clip that goes in the singular big hole on the side strakes.

It does require slight modification which can easily be done with a Dremel, a file, maybe a sharp box cutter ... I used one of the old regular clips to trace where I needed to cut on top, however you could also just eyeball it fairly easy.

All said and done it fits in there like it was made for it and fits in the door just the same.

Next I'm going to see if I can find a readily available replacement clip for the other smaller clips .... they are different then side skirt clips unfortunately
