Alright I more or less need all new side skirt clips because they're barely hanging on there as it is. I know I need whizbang double sided tape too, but I'm trying to sort this clip thing out before I actually take the skirts off (daily driver, don't want holes for rain/crap to get in). After examinine the Haynes manual, FSM (physical copy), and CAPS these are the part numbers and quantities I have found.

CAPS # (P/N) QTY
63971B (MS450174) x16 (Screws in the bottom)
63976B (MB696120) x20 (Clips)
63974B (MB361578) x10 (Clips)
63976D (MB696120) x10 (Clips)
63974C (MB361578) x6 (Clips..)
63976C (MB566719) x2 (More Clips..)

You'll note PN MB696120 and MB361578 are both listed twice, this is how CAPS suggests it.

Now for those of us not too great at math, that's a total of 48 clips, 24 per side, to hold on 3 pieces of trim. The total cost at the time of posting from JNZ is $89.98 (before shipping). Before I spend $100 on SCREWS AND CLIPS, is this information all correct? Is there an exact replacement for the $1.51/ea screws at a hardware store with a specific item name/number I can get? Can I get the same clips anywhere for less as well?

I know there are several threads on side skirts and particularly side skirt clips, but none of them contained the exact information I need, and because this thread has part numbers and quantities as well as prices, it may serve as better reference to future newbies.

Why don't you go to a junk yard and pull what you can off of 2gs both turbo and N/T?

The idea is to get screws that haven't been sitting in crap for 15 years and clips that weren't broken.

I realize this but to spend $100 on clips and screws is insane. I'm sure you can figure something else out instead of throwing away $100. There are so many other things you could address with $100. Also, possibly if you or anyone you know has a friend that does body work he/she could probably get you the clips for free.

That's why I posted here and why my original question included the following:

If it comes down to it I can give the 'yard a try and just hope not to break any clips while I'm removing them but I'd rather do it right the first time.

I bought kits on ebay, I think the seller's name is 'quicksilver diecast'

Sorry to bring an old thread back to life but what did you end up doing? Did you go with the ones in your last post? Because 8 for 15 of those isn't bad at all. I'm in need of these but idk if that one specific style is gonna work the replace all of the broken pins on my drivers side skirt
