Hey Guys,

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but a lot of links in the old threads no longer work.

I was hoping someone could point me to a site where they sell everything for the 2ga to 2gb conversion. I'd like the parts to look as close as oem.. a friend of mine ordered some bumper covers off ebay and they never really looked right...

Eclipse 2gb: Then you'll need the bumper cover, the foam absorber, and the headlights. (foglights and brackets if desired)

Talon 2gb: Bumper cover and foam absorber. Headlights are the same from 2ga to 2gb in this case. (foglights and brackets, too... but these are harder to find.)

Thanks for the reply.

Craigslist isn't much of an option since I live in the middle of nowhere. Reno is the closest city, and they rarely have part-out posts.

DSMGraveyard has the wing and sideskirts, but that'd set me back around $1200 bucks... much too expensive for 1/3 of the conversion.

Seemed like there were a ton of 2gb conversions on here, did everyone buy their stuff used?

Most people do, because it tends to be a lot cheaper. There are some aftermarket sources for re-pop bumper covers and such you could look into as well. Check out places like LKQ... also a quick google search for "automotive bumper cover" came up with quite a few sources. Basically just look for suppliers that make reproduction pieces for body shops.

+1 on that. Ordered a 2gb Talon hatch and spoiler was that in beautiful condition from him last fall. Shipping killed me; as it's oversized and heavy.... but was worth it since everything up here was rotted out.

If you look around locally and buy parts one by one it might be cheaper. You should be able to find headlights for around 50. The bumper covers for around 60 each. If you were local I could hook you up but I cant ship big stuff.

Thanks jpm. Problem is I'm a few hundred miles from being anywhere near civilization, so buying locally is impossible... closest city is about 200 miles (Reno NV) and its pretty rare to see any dsm parts sold (especially in good condition)

The more I look the more interesting ebay becomes. Are there any member pictures who used ebay bumpers for the conversion? dat price...

You can look in the classifieds for the small stuff like the headlights and brackets and what not. Thell ship right to your house. I buy almost all my parts on here. But the big stuff im not sure. Your probly going to pay more for the shipping.

Beautiful, I really appreciate it. I saw a few of them in the $80 dollar range and thought it was too good to be true, but apparently it isn't. Did you happen to get the rear bumper from ebay too? I'm about to put my order in for the front already, so excited!

Hey I had an ebay bumper and it was good. It comes primed though so I had to get it painted. Anyways while you're at it you should get the 2gb Halo headlights ;). Then look for some foglights in the classifieds section.

I had a pair of halos on my GST and I couldn't see anything in the dark... are there a set you'd recommend?
