Ok i have been researching to no avail. Does anyone make a gasket for the 2g housing yet? Taking my head etc off soon and rounding up all the odds and ends. Thanks in advance.

Good to know, but like I said fsm says to use rtv on 2g dsm. Rtv will work just fine although it is a pain in the a$$ to clean.If you're talking about the tstat housing to head gasket, then yes, they exist. It's an OEM part for various EVO's. Turns out the 2g can use the same gasket: Part no. is MD363254
