2g spyder gs auto shifting problems

Alright, my spyder will drive fine and shift fine, but all of a sudden check engine comes on and throws a p1750 code. Well the po said that he had the trans replaced at a local shop and showed me the receipts to it. Well I'm guessing if it has a new trans the solinoids probably aren't bad. What else could it be? I've read about the tcu going bad, is there anyway to check that without buying a new tcu? Thanks

Any decent transmisson shop should have a scanner for these types of problems. The shop i use locally has 1 for. transmissions, i asked my friend that works there said check solinoids.if need be pm me
