2G MAF issues

The vfaq wiring diagram doesn't show this particular 2g harness wire setup. I have heard that this is in fact a 1g ignitor plug, true?? Also is the ignitor plug on a 90 TSi in the same spot as where the vfaq says the 91 up is? Bolted to the intake manifold under/near the coil.

So is this plug that I have in fact a 1g ignitor plug or not? If it is all i gotta do is swap pin 8 to pin 5 on the plug under the coil like the vfaq diagram talked about?
