ALright so my car was running great boosting like normal with no worries. The next day the temp had dropped and it was only like 5 degrees out. I started my car and noticed it had a hard time staying started. On the drive to work I noticed it hesitated to start moving when letting out the clutch but once I got on the gas it pulled fine. So I check under the hood and noticed cracks in the front plastic piece of the MAF where the air filter attaches. So I ordered a metal filter adapter online but right now the car runs like shit. I guess I dont understand why running no air filter is making it run so bad I mean the sensor is still intact so shouldnt it still be doing its job the same? I never tried running the car witout an air filter before so I dont know what it should be doing, but the whole car sounds different from a start. Someone please let me know whats up.
