Just make your own harness adapter it shows you how in the write up.

I would pull the connector from the junkyard and play with that first before you do it on your daily driver. Also i think vfaq.com has a write up as well!

Sorry did not see the link! Duh!

I just did it on a 90 GSX. I wired mine directly into the harness as I dont care to use adapter harness.

it took about 20 minutes to do, just do one wire at a time and double check the wire colors before you solder the connections

I wouldn't recommend putting a 2g maf in your 90 unless you have a way to tune. I say this because against the advice of others I tried it, and it made a nightmare out of everything from 2k to 3k rpms and stopped boosting over about 6lbs. As far as wiring goes, I just cut the connector out of my old maf, and bought the 2g maf with a connector, soldered as per vfaq.

True, plus it leans it out and you could be looking at a rebuild within months/miles.

So, aside from that eBay Plug & Play harness, I'd need a 2G turbo eBay intake, a K&N air filter and a 2G MAS?

Well you don't really need a 2g pipe I used my 1g pipe and bought a home depot adapter then used a piece of tubing to join the two i spent $3 and it works great I also made my own k&n adapter plate.

So, would the 2G intake swap cause my 91 GST to run too lean? Would I need something like DSMLink to tune it with?

Buy some 550cc injectors coupled with that 2g mas and you'll be fine. Won't be perfect but will definitely be good enough. I was trapping 114mph with this setup and nothing to fine tune.

...or just adjust it in the EPROM. from what I remember from my old 1G build, the 2G MAF can easily be compensated for. regardless, wideband o2 sensors are $160 shipped these days, so I highly recommend getting one so you can monitor your vehicle's health before you do any major mods.

I also had the 1G MAF running on my starion using an adjustable rising rate fuel pressure regulator to compensate, but I really don't recommend that, especially on a DSM.

I say so, others will disagree. Search this site or other forums and read the horror stories of running it for long peroids. Do alot of your own research and come to an educated conclusion before taking someones advice.
