I have read the vfaqs and the posts and I still cant make heads or tales of the wiring. I know I've done it wrong because I'm throwing a cel. It's reading error codes 12, 13 and 25 which all have to do with the maf.

I was wondering if anyone could look at their 1g to 2g maf conversion and tell me how the 2g harness splices into the 1g. I'm running really rich now and I'm afraid to drive the car this way. I have to use this car as a daily driver. Hate to rush anyone, but it's really urgent. I have to work at 8 am tomorrow. Please help.

Found it! Never mind. It seems to be working now. However, I'm really hitting knock bad now.

Pin 1 on the 2G connector goes to the green/red wire that was pin 4 on the 1G harness.
Pin 2 on the 2G connector goes to the green/yellow wire that was pin 7 on the 1G harness.
Pin 3 on the 2G connector goes to the green/blue wire that was pin 2 on the 1G harness.
Pin 4 on the 2G connector goes to the red wire that was pin 3 on the 1G harness.
Pin 5 on the 2G connector goes to the green/black wire that was pin 6 on the 1G harness.
Pin 6 on the 2G connector goes to the green/orange wire that was pin 8 on the 1G harness.
Pin 7 on the 2G connector goes to the green/white wire that was pin 1 on the 1G harness.
Pin 8 on the 2G connector has nothing

I'm actually running about the same as I was before I put it on. I'm running pretty close to 14.7 at idle and cruise, give or take a few tenths. However, I am running rich at wide open throttle. Really rich actually. My afr is around 10. And I'm hitting knock way more now. I think its rich knock. I hit a knock sum of 32 yesterday. That really scares me. I definitely will not get into the pedal again until I retune. I may take it to Slow Motion Motor Sports in Columbus to have it dyno tuned. I've come to find I'm really horrible at tuning. :aha:
